What is Spinal Decompression Therapy?
Spinal Decompression Therapy is a non-invasive and non-surgical therapy to relieve back pain and other problems associated with spinal disc injuries and conditions such as: herniated discs, spinal stenosis, bulging or torn discs, degenerated discs, and radiant pain resulting from pinching nerves.
How Does DTS Work?
Our Spinal Decompression Therapy System performs traction of the spine through cycles of distraction and relaxation, or pulling and resting, resulting in decompression. With proper positioning, this traction creates a negative pressure inside the disc and pulls the disc back in, off the affected nerves. The vacuum within the disc stimulates increased blood supply and nutrient exchange within damages tissues.
How Does DTS Feel?
In most cases DTS is completely painless and comfortable. One of our highly trained therapy technicians will remain with you throughout your entire treatment.
What Problems can DTS Help?
• Failed Surgery
• Spinal Stenosis
• Herniated Discs
• Degenerative Disc Disease
• Prolapsed Discs
• Radicular Pain
• Compression Fractures
About Herniated Discs
When a disc herniates, the pressure on the nerves can be excruciating. DTS may return herniated discs to a normal shape.
